Omega, hopefully he doesn't - Lore wise, it was always designed to seek out and destroy Shinryu, so unless we're getting Shinryu it would make zero sense to introduce Omega into XIV beyond fanservice, since Bahamut is a peanut in comparison to Shinryu, so while Bahamut is this "big bad bad boy" and Omega can stand up against him/kill him, it breaks tradition honestly. Even in XI Shinryu makes an appearance in the same dimension where we never take out Omega, which too was designed to seek out a destroy a certain dragon (not Bahamut.)

3. Alexander would be a bit touchy since..generally he's some kind of protector or holy element, FFXIV has no light/dark/special elements anymore. (Even Astral/Umbral is missing for the most part.)

4. The only Gun stuff we heard of was that Musketeer will be magic based, honestly I hope not - Garleans need something to set them apart and if we're rocking their full technology and advances in warfare..what makes them unique? What makes them this all powerful empire?

5. There's only 2 spots left: Eureka, which was a treasure cave and will probably be a pitiful 4 man dungeon in ARR and the Dark Crystal, which is where the Warriors of Dark and Cloud of Darkness is. So "Full story" would happen at 2.6 or so most likely.

6. We'll never see Siren and Diabolos again, they're 4 man fodder in throwaway instances

So after Shiva it'll get interesting for sure but Fenrir is traditional now and XI pretty much solidfied his place as an important summon, he was HUGELY important to XI's storyline just like Carbuncle was so if he goes back to having almost no importance to anything, it would be a bit weird.

3) I would very much like for Cid, Biggs, and Wedge to become involved with Alexander somehow, considering his mechanical body. Mayhap it would similar to when Gaius dug up Ultima underneath Ala Mhigo? Except the Scions get to him first before something goes horribly wrong? :P (Like usual)

Wait but that's not true for all of the FF's I don't think. In 10 Omega was a person who died with extreme hatred for yevon over 700 yrs ago. So they do change it up every now and again.

This is true, in 8 he was just a twisted version of Ultima Weapon, and Ultima was just a science experiment gone awry, intended to defeat sorceresses.

I actually would really like to see Alexander as well, and Cerberus.
