and your party leader must cooperate with other party leaders for tips and spawn

it's not a ONE party thing, we go on minimum 3 parties

@Dree I never said I was against it. Do not make assumptions. All I was trying to state is that some people are simply never happy.

I indeed do not think it is fair that someone that never did turns 6+ got the same gear level as someone that is farming turns 6+ every week. If you are lucky you get 1 oil/sand per 8 weeks in a static. Now with hunts you get 1oil/sand per week if you just do it casual and 1oil/sand per day if you go hardcore. However it is the way it is and if this makes SE keep more people happy and playing the game, so be it. I am all for it. The more hardcore people will adjust (and already adjusted) and farmed the shit out of the marks. Soon they will be done farming and everyone can relax and farm A hunts that wander around for hours.

@Kallera If you are too lazy to look into the inner mechanics than don't, but do not expect to get everything out of the experience either. Also, the least effort you could put into it is joining a hunting linkshell and just react when they spot something.

I have no intention of getting anything out of the cheating experience. Attempting to gate The Hunt for the sake of a mad dash to gil is an act no better than the gilsellers.

So, people do not want to join linkshells, people do not want look into mechanics and keep track of hunts, people do not want to join big parties or group up with randoms. Yet they feel entitled to kill marks and get the loot.

I'm sure there are people that hunt properly with notes and stuff. But every day when I run maps I see people spread out around(usually just out of LoS of eachother through an area of the zone and sitting there - always individuals and always alone. I consider those are radar users - their positioning is odd to say the least.

I will admin I haven't really put any serious effort into hunting but I know people that have - they still get resets and zergs with 0 contribution. I wish there would be no leash on the marks though. So they couldn't get reset.

People are going to think I am defending the use of radar app, which I AM NOT, but ....

If I understood it right, by reading on the radar topics on different forums, all it does is show the name of the hunt (if it is up) if you are close enough to it (minimap close).

It absolutely gives you a small advantage since you can look around corners, under you, above you, behind you etc. However you still have to patrol the routes and spawnpoints of the hunts.You can not simply sit in the middle of the map and wait. If I am wrong and they changed it meanwhile, let me know since that might change my story.

Again, I AM AGAINST the usage of radar and people should get at least a temp ban for it.

The over lay and spread sheets mean nothing as long as that app exist nobody is going to trust how you found that mark no matter what means you used.
