Honestly OP while it was a B rank and thus anyone who would actually get angry over it is pretty silly, it would have been nice to have shouted it out in the zone, or found a party to kill it with. When people work together, they ultimately profit from the hunt. If the community could just operate on "treat others how you'd like to be treated", hunts would become a positive and enjoyable experience for more players, and everyone would get more rewards from it. I've seen this happen on my own server at certain times, and wow, hunts magically become fun and quite profitable.

I'm not saying you deserve the crap you've been getting for pulling two B marks, but ghosting kills is sort of frowned upon for good reason in my opinion.

Agree complete! Initially during the first few days, pt can farm hunt semi effectively. However, when weekend come, there are just too many group and too many people. Come this week, someone within the server started a group of hunting and decide it is to everyone best interest to hunt together and work together as a group. Everyone benefit and less anger.

I don't know about that. i see a lot more complains about the community on here than I see on Wildstar and ESO for example. "toxic community" is a meme now on here.

Wildstar hasn't been out for a month yet and ESO may as well be a single player game for how little the community actually interacts.

Sorry bud, that really sucks. It's sad people are getting so upset over stuff like this (especially a B, come on).

I've really enjoyed hunting since it came out and have even started my own LS for it, but I've definately started to see the ugly side of the community. Soooooo much anger over petty BS. Really makes it frustrating to log in and play knowing that this is what to expect.

Keep your chin up, whoever blisted you is not worth the time in my book.

That's exactly how I feel about it. Everyone predicted doom and gloom because of a cross-server DF not fostering a sense of community on our own native servers... But holy crow look at the community on our native servers! I'll take DF any day because this just sucks.

Would it really have been so hard for you to shout the location and wait a few minutes? It's one thing if you alone just need the monster but this is something the whole server needs. Granted the reaction was a touch overboard but in the end it's your fault for not knowing the community.

This was a B. Doesn't shouting it out and holding off on pulling increase the risk of the arrival of a locust-style hunt group who might just take it over leaving the OP nothing? I can better understand this suggestion for an A or S.

So playing the way it was intended is a crime now? Because for pulling 2 b mark enemies and killing them myself has made me the most hated player in Exodus server. Every linkshell, free company and raid group has been ordered to black list me from participating in any hunt, coil, or crystal tower group in game. It's amazing how petty and self entitled the community of this game has become. Hunts where supposed to be both an individual experience as well as a partial group experience but for playing solo I've been called greedy, I've been insulted and now I've been put to a point where I can't play anywhere without people harassing me. Way to go player base.

First of all, you stated that you killed these by yourself. So that means there probably wasn't anyone else around. Meaning, who saw you kill it by yourself to blacklist you?

The only way people would blacklist you is if you decided to kill it in front of many others.

Not to mention you claim your a solo player, so why does it matter to you that the server blacklists you? Solo players by definition generally don't interact with the community anyways so a blacklist is the least of your concerns but your post says otherwise.

I'm sorry this has happened to you.
I agree that they're out of control. Those people need to be reported asap.
Personally, when I see people spewing verbal diarrhea like that, even if it isn't directed at me personally, I copy and paste their exact words into the harassment report.
That behavior is unacceptable and it needs to be punished.

Although, if people continue to behave like entitled and spoiled ....children.... then the best thing SE can possibly do is remove sands/oils from the allied seals shop as well as reduce the myth/soldiery obtained.
