Not "will". "already has". Know plenty of people who lost motivation to raid soon as they announced they were once again throwing raid gear into solo content. No reason to spend hours progressing to get alt loot because you already got raid loot from doing hunts for a week.
And this is the problem with present-day raiding. It's about being a special snowflake, not overcoming the challenges the game provides.
