    Another good thing they could do, while keeping all the twisty and turnies, is to instead of making it ground we walk on, make it tree-tops. The trees and their branches could be so big, we walk on them to get from point a to point b. Maybe they could do this for the shroud, or save it for a completely new forest area.

    That place was mostly a evil tunnel maze as well, but at least it wasn't all maze :P. There were parts where it was open, which I liked. That place was also a lot harder to explore, since it was a REAL maze, wrought with deadly monsters that chase you to the ends of the zone.

    i dont go to that zone because its twisty passage ways and its claustrophobic atmosphere. i know im not alone on this since ive heard lots and lots of people complain about the same thing.

    edit, looking at the map of the BS above made me stand by my statement even more lol
    im only familiar with california forests (very woodsy with meadows in between) so maybe thats why i feel claustrophobic there.

    Takes too long to run through it. Just shorten the trails to camps and np. The zone is so massive, but we can't traverse anywhere, too many high level mobs and so close to some of the lower ranking camps too....

    The main issue for me is the tunnels. How many forests in real life consist of walled in tunnels that you can't navigate around? The shroud feels more like a cave without a ceiling than a forest. If they added maze like elements like in FFXI then people would be so confused when they got to that same stream crossing for the fifth time
