    Hunt HP Increase did Virtually Nothing

    ...

    You're still required to get in equivalent participation amount.

    Ex. if my group comes in at 50% & starts wailing on the mob, we still only get as much as we would have before credit-wise.

    At 50% today, say we get 10k damage in instead of 50% yesterday dealing 1k damage.

    We get the same credit.

    Giving us more time to kill the creature did nothing to solve the issue as 10 hits now is exactly the same as the 1 hit we could squeeze in yesterday (erroneous figures).

    SE, legitimate solutions incoming please?

    You can generate contribution out of thin air by using tanks and healers to create additional enmity. More time, more enmity out of thin air, more contribution for everyone, as far as I understand it.

    Works the same way. You need 'that' much more enmity just like how you need that much more damage, same difference.

    Just means healers spamming Medica II over-healing mindlessly will get teams their full credit still.

    What kind of cheesy design is that?

    It's extremely easy to get credit.

    1 or 2 healers, have them divine seal + Medica II, whilst everyone else deals damage.

    YOU DO NOT NEED A TANK.

    On Excalibur A/B's die in 10-30 seconds yet we still do fine even from 50%.

    Well, I certainly don't agree with the whole "Be in a full group or forget about it"-thing, either. I do wish they'd make some changes to contribution - or just give full contribution to everyone who gets a hit in, at this point - not like it harms anyone.

    Yeah not like the fights are legitimately tough either... so extra button-mashing doesn't really merit more credit.

    Especially when you've got things like gimmicky over-healing credit.

    I'm being sincere. Seriously, there is almost nothing to think about when face-rolling a mark.

    Legitimately, I don't see how more button-mashing should necessarily deserve more credit (to an extent).

    And over-healing to obtain insane enmity generation is gimmicky, fact.

    I don't know, and maybe this is just my line of thinking, but personally if I see a hunt mark I keep it to myself and people I trust to keep it hush hush. Bringing the whole server via shout/tell your neighbors etc is just asking for problems.

    And if everyone did the same, nobody would be getting anywhere fast in terms of seals. Telling people about it is the neighborly thing to do.
