Please give us the option to force log off our character
I know this topic was talked about recently, but I want this to be implemented.

I doubt they'll add it, but there's a workaround
1. Log onto another data centre
2. Make a character

Next time you can't log back in,
1. Switch to the other datacentre
2. Log into this character instead
3. Log out
4. Log back in on your main DC and Character
5. ???
6. Profit

How does this even work? I used to be able to log into 2 characters simultaneously if they are on diff data center. I haven't tried recently, maybe they fixed that loophole

And I believe the current character is still logged on is a preventative measure against account thieves.
You are unable to log into any character on that data center if anyone of the character was logged in.
In FFXI, if you get key logged, the account theif was able to repeatably kick the account owner off their character.

I'm not sure, but it worked for me on the rare occasions that my character has been stuck "logged in" for more than a minute or so.

I decided to try it today, thanks to the heavy rain in east coast.

And it doesn't work. Or atleast not anymore.
