Please give us the option to force log off our character

I know this topic was talked about recently, but I want this to be implemented.

My internet isn't the greatest, and I tend to dc during rainy days. Which, has nothing to do with SE.

However, it usually take from 30 seconds to 5 minutes to log back in. Why? Because the character gets stuck inside the game until the server actually kicks it out.

And it makes me feel very guilty to queue up for a dungeon, especially when they don't kick me and kept me. I don't like like the feeling of being a burden, so please give us the option.

I'm no expert on this, so I have no clue if this will be easy to implemented. But please do consider.

Honestly I never mind waiting for a player to return when they DC.

If you mean while you're in queue for DF, they only have to wait 45 seconds before it drops your registration.

I meant in dungeon. It's cool that you don't mind, but I would prefer not wasting people's time like that.

Very considerate, but most people don't mind as well. I hope it's still common courtesy, last I knew, it was.

I'm not contesting the idea, haha. Just telling him to not feel bad.

It would be nice, and it'd open up the ability to log in on another machine while already being logged in on another device.

Why it takes upwards of 5 whole minutes to kick a disconnected player at times is beyond me.

Exactly, it's a big waste of time.

yes please, force log off when i try to relog in.... X char is online --> X char is trying to log in ---> force kick X --> log in X

in other games , if u are logged in and u try to log in again from another client , your char gets kicked off and u are able to log in w/o issues. (wow for example)

I've had this problem before, power went out for like 1 minute- logged back on waiting another 2 minutes... party still kept me, hugs all around! lol

Although you should probably require 20 second wait time in game regardless, otherwise it could be abused to do weird things like hate resets or to dodge spells inappropriately.
