    Actually there is. During the hunts I was on, the group I was in would locate B ranks most of the time unless someone's LS would give coords for A/S ranks. In that time, someone would keep an eye on the B rank, while whoever needed it would go after the A/S ranks. But any rank mark still adds to the overall amount of seals needed to buy mark logs for sands. As I suggested before, the only reason people are mass zerging are the sands, or the opportunity to get sands. A/S marks just make it that much faster to do so.

    I don't see any problem with that as it's insane amount of time invested. And of course i'll not get it 2 weeks as i'll slow down considerably as it's not that required for me (i'm just fix some holes in equip due to BiS/unlucky drop from coil).
    It's 2.3, where content is toned down to allow people with bad luck to get their main class to 110 and start working on their off specs.

    By the way - if every pieces dropped for you, you'll get your gear in 1 week (8 item + 2 sands + 2 oils = 12 items, most people have 12 slots). For like 2 hours of time in coil. Compared to full worktime in hunt parties for 2 weeks.

    Call it what you want, it is easy. It's time consuming but that doesn't make it hard by any stretch of the imagination.
    You know, coil is *easy* especially T6-T8. And you are getting one 110 item every week and oil or sand every two weeks for how much spent time? 2 hours?
    Is it ok? should we just move all drop to savage coil and nerf usual coil to 100 ilvl?
    Hunting requires dedication and time investment. Coil now just requires some good people.
    And of course we are now in stage when catch-up game "get to ilvl 110" should be doable in a relatively short time. As in 3 month time it'll become casual content, but all ppl who are currently catching up due to various reasons (late entry, temporal leaves etc) should be able to do it with some efforts to be on the same ground as any other dedicated player when 2.4 comes out.

    Your elitist attitude "we suffered, other should suffer as well" is understandable, but it's toxic for a game. Heavy restrictions are good when new tier of content just came out. But when phases shift and game coming close to next layer of ilvl content, all people who really wants it and prepared to invest some time should be able to get good equip (i.e at least 100+ ilvl) for coming next tier content in relatively short time. For this some easing is required.

    Is it just me or are most people forgetting that we've have been capping Soldiery every week since 2.2 in order to have full i100 unweathered in the first place? So please, can we stop acting like i110 is dropping out of the sky? Sands/Oil/UAT were a nice bonus for doing second coil early, nothing more, nothing less. Now it's everyone else's turn, they quite clearly want us to be geared close to i110 by the time 2.4 rolls around.

    Yes making them more available somewhat cheapens the work already done by people in coil, but not really if you see the items as bonuses. It's also a general trend of this game and the vertical progression model. Something that you worked hard for will become easier to get in the future. I'm pretty surprised, when raiders who claim they're quite experienced, are stunned that this is the case. It's the status quo in the majority of MMO's.

    I would even go as far as roll back all items got from seals and all items got from using the items got from seals

    Honestly, the only fair solution would be to give EVERYONE a built in radar for elites.

    Solves most of the problems. I don't agree with people using radars but I can't understand the countless waves of people complaining about it. Hell, use it to your advantage. Join a ls and form a part. Go scout around and go to any hunt that's called out in the ls. I got about 100 seals per hour doing this.

Radar was used for NM camping for more than ten years in FFXI, so welcome to FFXI-2, please look through © The only way to solve this issue is to add ingame radar and ringer for NM, make it live longer, add personal bills for spawning nm for myth (like BCNM), etc.

    Also, than longer I play in 14, than more it reminds me of 11. I vote for returning of job/subjob system, 1 capped craftjob, skillchains (hooray Distortion), chocobo breeding, weed pots in personal rooms, battle pets, party exping, etc. And dunes, we need dunes back.

    As a person who do hunts a lot - radar is not a problem in hunts, in 90% of places marks easily spotted without one. It's "privileged access" to information and massive inside sharing that turns hunts into flesh trains with little chances for outsider to gain relevant participation.
    Until people that do FC-wide voice chats where all info is shared instantly will not get their sands - things will be as they are now even if you will be given built-in radar.
