I think a couple additions need to be made. One is the one the OP suggested, so that other players in the group can report obvious abuse of the feature (like initiating a kick vote for someone for being AFK when they clearly aren't, etc.) This would be for players who aren't themselves being kicked, but seeing it happen to someone else (as that's who would get the kick vote window coming up).

And the other change that's needed is for the person who gets kicked. When you get kicked from a group, you should be given the name and server of the person who initiated it, everyone who voted for it, and the reason they gave for the kick. Preferably along with a right-click "report abuse" option.

Expecting the player to remember everyone's name (let alone their server, which we're never even shown) in order to report them leads to such a low chance of reports being made that everyone thinks they can abuse the vote kick feature with impunity. (And unfortunately, they're right about that all too often.) Besides that, even if you know the names of those in the group, that wouldn't tell you which of them kicked you from it. Sometimes you can guess if they were verbally abusive first, but not always.

This. I definitely agree with this. It would eliminate the hassle of having to manually report everything yourself. I should even be timestamped, so that you know when the action occurred, which would probably help on the investigation team's end too.
