Not to rain on your parade, but I wonder how hard they'll nerf Titan-egi because of this.

* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)

If they wanted to get rid of this strategy a better fix would be to buff Ramuh's 1-shot mechanic to higher numbers.
That said, bravo. Of all the things I was expecting to come from this patch, Titan tanking Ramuh-Ex was definitely not one of them lol
Yoshida is all about balance, if they find out you can completely replace tanks with Titan-Egi and it gets enough attention, it will be nerfed since they said themselves it was more of a tank for solo play.
Or we could move away from resorting to 1 shot mechanics..? That'd be cool too.
As long as you don't touch Spur/rouse/etc as that'll force a stat reset the HP will be up. Also, as said, Topaz/Titan was designed as a solo play Tank mainly, not that it can't work but..do you see content where you can only queue as a SMN tank? No PLD or WAR?
