Look if you want to derail this thread with random speculation about how people must be exploiting go ahead. I'd really appreciate it if you didn't but obviously you're set on it. I don't think people should be using the addon and I think client info should be obfuscated to break the addon, HOWEVER, it's not the philosophers stone you suggest. Nor is it the real problem with hunts, people having a somewhat wider range of view via a crappy overlay are not the issue. Filling these threads with wild speculation about programs you know nothing about is just noise that's going to result in us getting a bad fix from SE when they look here for feedback and find pages of crap.

I don't mind the hunt system it's a mess and people are stepping all over each other but that was to be expected. I just don't like the cheating that gives unfair advantages like scan apps etc... everything else like large organized groups and LS is all in the game and I can accept that but if they don't do anything about the cheating then maybe my Destiny lies elsewhere.

I think the allied seals to not be used for Sands, and move the sands over to the Soldiery Vendor and have them affordable (say 300 soldiery). That way people who want the Alexandria stuff and other rewards would still be rushing them and making it active, but also that way not the entire server would be looking to kill them.

They also need scaling HP based upon the number in the immediate area when engaged, and increase the HP significantly as well. And they should also drastically increase the rewards from the daily hunts, to better compare to the randomly spawned ones.

It just gives TOO much of a reward compared to the rest of the in-game content. And I'm not usually a fan of nerfing rewards, but this hunts thing has gotten outta control, there are people better geared in a day and a half than our group that's been downing T8 for weeks now (I've still never gotten a sand due to the drop priorities).

a PC. and it's not just me. On Balmung there are -normal- mass disconnects at things like odin, behemoth, and now S rank hunts. It's not one person lagging. the server kicks off like 50 people+ at once.

I have a character on bal also I play ps4 ps3 and pc, i'v never had a problem with lag or disconnect on any event there. Perhaps im just lucky not sure.

The hunt system is very poorly conceived. Honestly, it's amazing that it passed quality control to be added to the patch. Monsters are dead before people can get credit. If you wait to let others get credit, you don't get credit. B Rank Elite Marks are dead in seconds giving pretty much nobody except the claimer a chance in hell. The last live letter feels like a total troll now we know how the hunt system works.
