    It's Macuahuimeh. Checked the Market Wards over it just now. If I'm not mistaken though, they're a sort of Wooden Aztec (or at least stone-age) sword with micro-blades made from flint or obsidian inserted into grooves carved along the edges... And of course, if a blade ever got dull, you popped it out, and replaced it with a new one as the main part of the weapon lasted for a few years.

    I'll need to get my Introduction to Biological Anthropology notes out later... I forget when those things came along in human evolution and culture...

    Definitely Aztec, and the rest of that sounds accurate to me.

    I also refuse to type/say that word. I have enough issues with Quetzlcoatle (sp?) that I've basically given up on Aztec. Besides, most of the people I talk to in my LS just call them "ass paddles" anyway.
