I don't see how this is really a problem. I mean, everyone gets the same exp and marks in the end, based on where their GC finished. But I guess its just another one of the little things where you wanna know that you did better than other people, so eh, why not. 8D

It's not really about the exp... I mean, at the end of the match they show your kills and such. There isn't much of a point to it, but it wouldn't be right for it to display inaccurate results.
I usually get 2-4 kills a match knocking people off the edge so its disheartening to see it shows I only got a few "legit" kills

But you didn't do the finishing blow. Only the last hitter gets the kill point. If you were chasing me and I killed myself by jumping off or getting killed by neutrals I don't see why anyone would award you the kill. Getting pushed off means that a neutral element did the finishing blow, not you. Otherwise we might as well award the kill to the person who did most damage to the player and no one does that.

You jumping off and getting pushed off are two different circumstances. If I'm clever/lucky enough to shove you off a cliff to kill you, that still speaks of my skill/fortune. Furthermore, if you see no way of escaping with your life intact (making you choose between the cliff or the sword), your attackers have won by forcing your hand (checkmate!). Being able to jump off and kill yourself doesn't mean that Titan didn't beat you.

In League of Legends at least, if you're killed by a minion, turret or monster, the last enemy player to damage you gets kill credit. Only by completely escaping combat for several seconds (a long time!) can you reset this. I'm not sure how many other PvP games do this, but it seems accurate to me.

In the end, it's up to SE to decide if they want to allow Kill-Denies or change the system to be more intelligent about gravity-murder. It doesn't really matter as far as winning and losing goes, but it strikes me as weird.

So basically if I pushed you off a cliff in real life and you died, it's gravity's fault and I didn't murder you?

    Cool.
