If I understand correctly then OP wants to know what's the point in getting achievements that only give you achievement points and no item/title.
The reward for those is the fact you were able to get them. If that isn't rewarding enough then don't bother getting those achievements.

I see where he's coming from.

i.e. completing 1000 fates earns you Tempter/Temptress of Fate title, but there's an achievement for 3000 completed fates too, but it has no rewards at all.

The 3000 fate achievement gives you the paragon's gown.

Some people, myself included, like going after achievements just for the sake of doing them. Hit the 3K mark last night and am rather proud with myself. ^^ Onwards and upwards!

My apologies. I forgot that was a reward. Kindness to Strangers for example is one without any rewards whatsoever. I personally am 70 away from cracking 2000.
