    S rank Hydra in East Than has 1.3mil HP and dies in about a minute on a low pop server. I agree they need more hp but you're underestimating the amount they already have. Honestly they just need the system from WoW that increases the hp of a mob every time someone engages it, but keeps its current health % the same.

    It's pretty sad but this is really what it looks like. What's worse is all the people shrugging and going "oh just up the HP a little and it will be great", not understanding they'll have finished the content by that patch with the rate most people are zerging it. People really don't understand what's going on here. People who think eventually these will stop being a zerg are delusional. Especially if they update rewards.

    It's obvious the intent was for players NOT to share kills with the entire server, small groups were just supposed to take them down such that you were lucky to get 100 seals a day with any real dedication unless you got lucky with a couple rank S/A.

    They refuse to put sands in CT until a later patch because it would be "too easy". The oils and UAT they did put in there are only a 30% drop rate and you have to loot against everyone. Coil clear groups can only get 1-2 per week depending on how fast they can clear. But 50 players in a hunt LS can get a sand in 2-3 days if everyone coordinates kills? No way they intended that.

    Just like atmas everyone is going bananas on these right out of the gate. Participation will die down and these will work much closer to how they were intended. It is funny seeing everyone rage on whoever gets there first and kills it. "Everyone should divide the hits, it's not fair!" Come on.

    What this guy said ^

    Several people in hunt LS have received a sand every day since the hunt came out, while you can only get 2 a week max from coil. A patch will be coming soon unless they intended to let some people get a sand of time each day if they feel like it.

    Also people probably realize that it will be patched soon and are likely using that as a reason to really be greedy if they can get a sand of time each day in its current state. So when you see people jacking your mob back to full health then ask SE why they're incompetent.

    I think a better solution than increasing the HP would be to treat it like a turn-in FATE instead. Once the mark dies, it keeps going under a status called Death Throes or something like that, for at least 60 seconds if not a bit longer. Leashing would have to be altered for the marks as well, both preventing them from recovering during Death Throes, and also changing them so participation isn't reset during a leash. And on top of all that, actions required to get full credit might still need to be lessened.

    Has there seriously been no SE response on this trash at all? Considering this was the only really interesting content added in 2.3, I was so excited for these hunts and it's been a huge let down.

    Yah I mean, they didnt add anything else. Oh, except Syrcus Tower, chocobo stables, main scenario content, tons of side quests, Ramuh, desynthesis, and QoL out the yinyang.
