ask for fair compensation. people don't work for others in the real world for free unless you are helping those that have less than you, it's called "volunteering" Not trying to be mean but trying to encourage you to not be taken advantage of.
Except there's no real fair compensation, I'm the only one with fully melded gear + i70 tool. And I'm the only one that can even spend that much time gathering soil and bamboo every hour. The amount of effort to do so is not exactly realistic for people that actually dont have much time to spend.
It's just the amount of work that has to be put into it is not realistic imo. This is just to upkeep the stable, we haven't even add the feeds into the equation either :<

It sells for 5 gil. Thats how much the NPC will give you if you sold to a NPC vendor, not the value it is sold by the vendor.3000 gil lmao its cheaper than the stupid krakka root seeds =_=
edit: actually according to lodestone db http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...m/96abfb901bb/ it says its 5 gil per bag...which is weird as I coulda sworn when I went to buy some it said 3000something gil. I'm so confused now. I'll have to check tonight when I'm back in the game.
I disagree. You could make a self sustaining garden that produces
1. One Broombush
2. One Glazenut
3. Chocobo Food
Without fertilizing it. Once every three weeks you would have to go farm bamboo sticks which wouldnt take but a little grinding for a day.
People think you can just walk up and get Glazenuts and Broombush at leisure. I was lucky enough to have an FC mate that was already very knowledgable on gardening, but if you are starting from scratch you can't expect to just go out and choco-train non stop unless you set it all up first. It's about developing the system and feeling rewarded for it's products.
Your FC owns a medium house, small houses are limited to 1 garden patch, you can't make food for everyone in your FC and also focus on stable brooms with just 1 garden patch.I disagree. You could make a self sustaining garden that produces

How do you know that? The krakka root seed can for example yield really high amount with correct soil (lets say anything betweeen 12 and 24) per bed so should be enough for small FCs. Or - it could produce only one (HOPE NOT!) and we're all srcewed ... Until the yield is known (should be tomorrow) this is all just unbased speculations.
