Brooms for stable

Prices should drop pretty quickly, seeing as the craft produces 20 and it's not a consumable item. Easiest way for a FC to distribute them would be to have one in a Company Chest slot that anyone can take out and clean the stable. Unless they bind on use?

It's NOT consumable? This changes everything for me if that's the case. I have an ample supply of everything but the broombush to make it, and shouldn't be too bad to obtain that, even if I have to rely on the boards pricing.

I haven't confirmed that yet (or seen it confirmed). But considering the bamboo is in a shared two star gathering slot and the only large scale supply is from people who got it during 1.0...

EDIT: waiting on an FC member who has all the materials to give it to one of our carpenters. Then we'll see what's what.

I'm hoping the gardening crossbreed changes from the notes has something to do with how you obtain broombush and glazenuts. Spending on a handful of consumable brooms that costs more than a small FC house is absurd.

I think the prices will probably drop down to about, say... 20-30k apiece. I really don't think 300-500k per broom is reasonable, especially with it being 20/craft, even with the recipe and mats being 2-star.

It sort of is when the cost to make them is over around 2-3mil.

Given the way things have gone in the past, they're probably changing them so they can't be chain bred. :/

What? Lol dude what makes you come to that conclusion. If a synth makes 20 of something that is a logical conclusion to say it IS consumable.
TBH I have sold the brooms already but have yet to use one so I don't know 100% they aren't consumable but I am 95% sure they are consumable based on logic.

Also, yeah pretty easy to make them but gathering the mats is the hard part. You need a garden producing both broombush AND glazenuts and at this point the garden crosses may have changed from PRE 2.3. The notes said seed crossings have changed.

It's very hard to produce a chain that reproduces both broombush and glazenut on a weekly basis, but it's just a logic problem that you can do based on the current known seed crossings (which again may make this procedure impossible if any of the chains leading up to the two fruits has changed)

To be honest I didn't think they would be consumable, multiple items I assumed to be handed out to multiple people in the FC rather than everyone having to craft their own. It's not completely unreasonable to assume they're non consumable, bummer that they are though. Dirty stables for my FC lol.
