That feel when I'm the only one in the FC capable of growing them + gathering bamboo.

This whole Chocobo Raising crap already feels like crap to me.

ask for fair compensation. people don't work for others in the real world for free unless you are helping those that have less than you, it's called "volunteering" Not trying to be mean but trying to encourage you to not be taken advantage of.

Except there's no real fair compensation, I'm the only one with fully melded gear + i70 tool. And I'm the only one that can even spend that much time gathering soil and bamboo every hour. The amount of effort to do so is not exactly realistic for people that actually dont have much time to spend.

It's just the amount of work that has to be put into it is not realistic imo. This is just to upkeep the stable, we haven't even add the feeds into the equation either :<

I disagree. You could make a self sustaining garden that produces
1. One Broombush
2. One Glazenut
3. Chocobo Food

Without fertilizing it. Once every three weeks you would have to go farm bamboo sticks which wouldnt take but a little grinding for a day.
People think you can just walk up and get Glazenuts and Broombush at leisure. I was lucky enough to have an FC mate that was already very knowledgable on gardening, but if you are starting from scratch you can't expect to just go out and choco-train non stop unless you set it all up first. It's about developing the system and feeling rewarded for it's products.

This is just another example of SE having no idea how to make content enjoyable and accessible. It's almost like they WANT massive inequality among the playerbase and are even encouraging elitist behaviors.

Just because you can't get them doesn't mean that only a very small porcion of people can. There are pleanty of avid gatherer and crafter in each server. Make friend, have connection.
