Because EVERYONE has so much precious time to zerg end-game and now that EVERYONE has cleared it, it's irrelevant content.

Get off your high horse. Some of us have these things called JOBS and FAMILIES and RESPONSIBILITIES to take care of. If you can't wait, then tough titties tansy. Fun is subjective. If you're not having fun, that's YOUR fault. You wouldn't slam your head against a wall for 4 hours and hope that 4 hours later it might become fun, no?

tl;dr Deal with it. Life is so much tougher than this.

I see there is a need to be "casual or die" mentality here.... with very poor reasons not to agree to this.
If they listened to people like you FFXIV ARR would a failure like 1.0 was. Catering to people like you kill plenty of mmos.

NEver said anything of the sort.... why do you people get offended by this stuff? you havn't got the time then why do you care so negativly? seems completely hypocritical if anything.

Funny how most other MMO's manage to cater to both.... just pointing out where its lacking.

I don't think anyone realizes the amount of work that goes into creating raids and dungeons. It isn't simple mathematics or geometry. Sure the argument could be made that technology is better than it was 4 years ago, but let's be realistic, creating an online world out of pixels and making it a challenge to players while looking pretty isnt easy. Developers can't make content for both hard core and casual consistently enough to be sent out every couple months.

Anyways i think die-hard fans tend to be hard core players and no-lifers, but the bigger market is the casual market which will obviously attract business.

Back in the day I used to be hard core in most games that I played. No developer could keep up with the demand I had for content.

At least there\'s enough options to keep you busy for a while. If you don\\'t find them fun, rewarding, or interesting maybe there's a different MMO to suit your needs. If not may then you just need a short hiatus?

oh please, you live in some alternative reality. the most successful MMO on the market done Casual, Hardcore and PVP right and oh look... it peaked at 14 million SUBS ... whereas ... here... 2 million registrations with a brand like final fantasy. Wildstar now takes the spotlight in most circles because again it does both. even SWTOR does both... even LOTRO did both....

You know the games that failed... have failed to do? BOTH. The down turn Guild Wars 2 took ... most MMO gamers are PvErs... and need to be catered to on all levels.

But yea... those of us that want a few raids are sooo ruining these games right? sheesh... talk about delusion.

Have you tried running those "easy" 4-man dungeons when you're not 40 lvls overgeared?
Why don't you put together a party in ilvl67 and take on Titan Ex?

I'm always amused by people like you who come in saying everything is too easy but they're running Wanderer's Palace and Amdapor Keep (nerfed too) in i90+ gear.

Yoshida gave a reason as to why there are no full party dungeons being added just yet during E3:

Right now there are only the main scenario dungeons for a full party - are there any plans to add more in the future?
We get a lot of different demands from all over the world. Some people want us to make dungeons for fewer people, some people want solo dungeons, and others want 8-man dungeons. For people who have a full party and are looking for a challenge, I hope that you try all of the primal battles. It's difficult to plan out all the gimmicks for 8 people. It's easier for four person dungeons, and if these mechanisms from four person dungeons work out well for solo, we'll start looking into doing 8 person ones.
So, 8 man dungeons will be added in the future, but not any time soon. The next stage in the Coil is also due in 2.4, although these aren't dungeons but rather more like Trials.

For tougher content, they'll likely add in more Savage style versions of content (especially for Third Coil) if the current one is popular enough and well received.

As for the gear stat itemisation, this was answered a long time ago. Recently, they also took note that people want to have gear with unique properties on them, and they'll look into it. But the reason why they haven't done that is because it would affect game balance and the way that they design content. The reason they can design content with such tight requirements is through this greater control over the effect of stats simply because there are only a few of them.

I would expect that any major changes to this system will be done at the time of an expansion. Yoshida has already commented that it's possible they may adjust or revamp the armoury system at that time, so it's no unreasonable to think they could do the same with gear stats then.

it's divisive and that only serves to drive away the lower end players from the game.

and for different sets i mean different iLvs. PVP sets are the same as PVE sets in that regard.

if you have competitive 24 man content, the gear from there has to be considerably better than Coil level 8 man content. are multiple versions of competitive 8 man content suppose to have the same gear or not?
