    You have enough casual/fluff content now, how about that endgame progression SEnix?

    It needs to be expanded on dramatically at this point... we are just getting spammed with back-wards progression 4 mans...

    there is loads of small fluff content now, isn't it time Square ... actually met the competition in the competitive end-game department? 4 turns in 6 months is not good enough... everything added except turns 5-9 are not progression in the competitive sense... simply catch up filler.
    • Why are there not more 8 man dungeons?
    • Why isn't gear becoming more creative with stats?
    • Why is there no COMPETITIVE 24-man dungeon instead of a casual Crystal Tower experience (though I like that too)

    I understand, the game was very limited on launch, but it seems now, or at least the expansion, if they want to keep the core too... they need to get up to speed with this.... the end-game is shallow.

    To be fair, their casual "fluff" is kind of gated behind a lot of hard core gameplay too so...

    True casuals didn't really get much out of this. I agree there needs to be a lot more done at end game, but SE seems to be playing catch-up in ALL aspects of the game and maybe Yoshi-P's eyes are a little bigger than his stomach atm. So much feels so half-asd.

    Although i agree we need hard 24 man raids, the current end game is created for ppl that have LIFE. If u are raiding every day 8 h per day its ur fault for exhausting content faster than devs can make it.

    casual patch

    This is more of a casual patch though. I felt the same way about 2.2 that you feel about 2.3. I was disappointed with second coil because I don't have the time to commit to learning it so I couldn't really experience that content. So now with 2.3 there is new content that I can experience beyond just grinding soldiery tomes.

    I was frustrated after 2.2 and almost took off, but someone on the forums reminded me that pretty much every other patch is casual > hardcore > casual > hardcore. Maybe 2.4 will be more your style

    The no life argument died a long time ago, you're going to have to try harder than that. If anything, a lot of people who raids at the end-tier play only a few hours a day.

    I would say go do brutal Coil, but I guess the challenge isn't what you're looking for, but the loot that goes with it.

    you think that's justification for such a limited variety? I guess no game should bother making new raid content then...

    But anyway, its less about coil completion, I'm happy that is so tough.

    what I don't understand is, why have we not seen any 8 mans (so at least Hullbreaker Isle could of been more interesting and varied in mechanics ... and abit more challenging for example.) raiders will argue you can't make things interesting enough with 10 man, let alone 4.... making more and more 4 mans at this point seems absolutely redundant... it doesn't challenge anyone whatsoever.

    and the 24 man is required for guilds to properly form on a larger scale... too many scattered smaller guilds with no focus just ebcause the only content that requires any sort of coordination is an 8 man.

    hell I'm not super hardcore, but this is clearly a big design issue atm holding this game back, which would be a shame given its pedigree.

    Why the illogical assumption ?

    A lot of people couldn't care less about loot as much as having different raids to do other than SCoB for a few hours for one night during the week then not do anything until lockout resets.

    I was expecting this to come up. yes, well done loot and character progression is important in an RPG... good job on trying to make me sound bad for knowing what makes a good game... like this game's competition clearly does....

    Again, how is rehashing the same content with alterations a good substitute to a proper 24 man raid? or at least another area of progression.

    I knew this would come up, the same frustration nonsense that guild wars 2 players defended the game with... an oh look.... how that end-game turned out.
