Bottom line: You can't make assumptions for the majority or minority anymore than I can.
Citation needed. I never exactly specified a vast/most amount of players were satisfied with it. I only said that since the dissatisfaction of the appearance of the egis is only brought up by a tiny fraction of the player publicly and quite often by the same few people, it would be a safe assumption to say that the majority is fine with it. If the appearance of the egis would be such a problem for a lot of people, you'd see much more criticism than the same few people.

If you disagree and you think it's not a safe assumption to do, do explain your reasoning with something else than "You can't."

You want lore? They can add a new quest called "Glamour your egi" or "Egis reborn" where in the story the Archanist Guild Master finds a way to make them change appearance to match the primal better.

Talk about lore! and how easy it is do the right thing.
Why should we resort to retconning so you can feel better ?
