Forums are notoriously considered to be where only the minority of players post to begin with.
You've essentially invalidated the opinions of everyone on these forums. Maybe everyone should stop posting about everything, then?

Why do you care if we're the majority or the minority? I don't see any threads about how amazing the egi design is
But we see many (every 2-3 weeks) threads about how bad egis look
It doesn't really matter what explanation or excuse they give.
The truth is that most people find them disappointing.
Personally I don't even consider that a real summoning job just because they don't look at all menacing.

well, the forums are here for a reason. and we give our opinions and suggestion n feedbacks here.
if the warrior and paladin thing was never mentioned then warrior will still be crap as it was in 2.0.
it was thank to us forum-goers all around it was resolved.
now listen to us again, and fix the dang egi's! XDDD
Strawman serves no purpose here. There is a difference in between the opinion of someone saying they don't like x thing and some people claiming that a vast/most amount of players dislike/are dissapointed with x thing.
People that are satisfied with something usually don't feel the need to go and start new threads about it while as people who are dissatisfied tend to be the loudest one by far.
Bolded part = the very definition of a blanket statement.
Not disagreeing here.
Or the fact that they were mechanically broken, that warriors in game were frown upon by everyone to the point some people would want to run the FCoB with two paladins instead and that they saw a drastic decrease in amount of people playing them, that Square Enix mentioned themselves that one of the main reasons was paladin surviving things they weren't supposed to (buffed T1 and T4 coils specifically) and that instead of changing the encounters to inherently nerf paladins, they decided to buff warriors.
But hey, if you think it's due to you guys little forum crusade and it makes you sleep better at night![]()
the excute to say: it doesnt fit the lore is a joke anyways now that we can ride even behemoth...

The text can be changed or rephrased.
You want lore? They can add a new quest called "Glamour your egi" or "Egis reborn" where in the story the Archanist Guild Master finds a way to make them change appearance to match the primal better.
Talk about lore! and how easy it is do the right thing.
But it's okay to say that a vast/most amount of players are satisfied with X thing?
Bottom line: You can't make assumptions for the majority or minority anymore than I can.
