ThisYou can say people are "banging their heads" against the wall if you'd like, but in certain instances "we want it." is all it takes if enough people are in support of something.
Take Warrior for example. People lamented on the forums on how it needed to be enhanced. You know what the initial response from the Devs was? The job was fine, and people needed to learn to play better. But people persisted and lo and behold, changes were made.
As for the matter of giving the Egi a cosmetic face lift, changes of this sort are not without precedent as I've stated in the past.
Although it took place before FFXIV: ARR, the size of monsters, as well as the effects of spells and actions were made larger in patches 1.16 and 1.17. Why? Because players were dissatisfied.
There's no harm in letting players show their support for changes within reason, so I say go for it.
And thank you to the trolls who stopped derailing the topic and said their "peace"
