1500 myth for new i90 accessories?!

It would be kind of nice if they balanced new recipes such that the rare/ expensive materials came form gathering rather than those being super cheap and easy to get while the myth items (which come primarily from playing combat classes) are the primary financial roadblock.

I agree.

The new recipes are another slap in the face of crafters.
Do more dungeon farming or buy the expensive materials while gatherers undercut eachother into oblivion because nobody needs the materials they get.


I mean, just look at this recipe:

The Greater Key of Tremors
Demimateria of Crags x3
Battlecraft Demimateria III x10
Crag Heart
Terminus Putty x10
Enchanted Gold Ink

So you have to farm enough Tian weapons or even accessories, to be able to desynth them into 3 Demimateria or buy them, if they can be sold.
Then you have to farm some more to get a Crag Heart.
Next you need 10 Terminus Putty (hey cool that 1 synth gives 3, so you end up with 2 too much) which require 12 Tawny Latex or 1800 myth.
Ok Enchanted Ink is easy to get, yay!
All that's left is getting 10 Battlecraft Demimateria III for which you will have to desynth high level DoW/DoM gear (I guess). I don't have any clue how high the chance to get Demimateria is, but if it's 20%, which is a high chance, it would mean you have to desynth 50 items...
Then pray for HQ.

All that to get an ilvl95 weapon?
Yes you can meld materia in it, but you can't increase the main stats and materia is so cheap atm, just "shut up and take my money".
In the time to get all the stuff together I could run Levi EX often enough to get almost every weapon and upgrade some of them to ilvl100.

SE really loves crafters and gatherers.
