Any chance that the fanfest ingame items will be sold on mogstation?

It's a bonus/reward for people making the effort to come to the event SE made for them. Most people who want to go wouldn't care if it was given or not. But it's something SE wants to give those people for going, something they want them to have to "commemorate" that they went, for when they continue to play SE's game. Does it suck that not everyone will get it? In some ways sure, but not completely.

And that is why they shouldn't be mixing real life with an exclusive item for an online game. Because we gamers do care. Most of the people going would have gone either way. If they want to commemorate that real life event, give them something REAL not virtual. Otherwise this turns into a lame move on SE's part to try and boost sales by incorporating something they shouldn't have, just to try and get a few more ticket sales. If that's the case, shame on them by not doing the gamers right.

That's now how I see it, that's just how it is. I've already stated multiple times that there should be no in game incentive for attending a real life event. We all pay the same monthly fee for this game and we want equal opportunity for these in game items. If most who go wouldn't care if it was given or not, then why are you still here posting? What is the point of you being here at all? Yes, SE wants to reward them and we get it, you keep saying that over and over. We are just voicing our input that we want in game items to be available to everyone equally.

This is what you need to get out of your head. Paying for this service doesn't entitle you to have equal access to everything in game. It never has. In any other game either. It gives you the opportunity, nothing more. Same here, you have the opportunity, nothing more. It's the same as someone who couldn't complete an in game event because they had to work and didn't have the time.

They shouldn't be equally available. You say it's Not fair. But it's also not fair to the people who go to the event specifically for the item. Because I've heard of atleast a few people going just for it.

Well se already said it's exclusive for the people who go. They won't change that. And they shouldn't because it's them showing appreciation to the people who make it to the event

It's rude and hateful to the people who are going, who are spending money, for your unto try and demand you get the same item as them. But no one on the forums can win the argument outside of a mod coming and saying ether "hey, they said this is staying exclusove" or "well the decided to give he item to everyone."

when the event comes and goes. People will cry for a bit then get over it/forget. Then it'll happen again, people will cry about it, I'll say the same thing I did on here, and probably even quote this thread as a reference to it not changing.

SE can change anything at any time. That's what these forums are for, to express out opinions and give feedback on the direction of the game.

Wanting equal opportunities is not rude or hateful, that statement is the most ignorant thing I have read all morning, and that's saying a lot.

What's even more ignorant is your dismissal of a cash shop while approving of these exclusive items to a paid event. In essence they are the same thing.

And you upkeep bringing up them giving something real. Maybe they will. Maybe they'll give real things and virtual things. Conventions always give freebies. But the thing is. Maybe they want the in game time so they can show it off.

Why do you think that when something happens that you dislike, it must be changed? There are many things in this game(in real life too) I think aren't right, but I'm not clamoring for them to change them because I know mine isn't the only view.

Because they don't affect the game the same way. An event like this is once a year. So they might spend some resources and time setting it up and such. But a cash shop is always there. They need to constantly make things for it to stay relevant, and that, contrary to one might think, takes time away from other things. Except now, it's year round instead of once a year. Not to mention cash shops are meant as a main or secondary revenue stream, these events are not.

They are not the same. Cash shop paves the way for pay to win. And cats shop isn't exclusive, and can be used any time.

The exclusive item itself isn't bought, can't be gotten any time, and doesn't affect game play in a way that gives person A an advantage in a dungeon over person B. It's given as a thank you by se.

And my statement is not ignorant, it's just that in your eyes, you don't find it rude or hateful. I'm not even going and I find it very rude That people are being so "entitlement" argumentative about the items being exclusive and acting like a child that gets given anything they ask for by mummy.

They could charge a flat rate to access the stream for the event for those that can't go. Something like 60 dollars which include access to the streamed event and the digital swag just none of the physical items.
