I feel a true swell of pity for one of my FC mates. The guy was a top shelf crafter. He worked incredibly hard to get his gear and now this... I don't craft like he does, but it was hard to listen to his reaction. I have heard the same for dozens of crafters. I'm just relieved I didn't push for my gear like they did. It's completely wrong that I feel that way too.

I do not want to belittle your friends effort in becoming a master crafter, but it was more a time/gil sink then anything else. You either spent the time gathering materials or SBing, or spent 300k gil buying the mats and materia. 3 star crafting is quite profitable (as is crafting HQ lvl 10-30 tank gear). The gil requirement was easily the faster route and easily recouped once you got your mainhand tool. Honestly, these new items shown look to be very profitable for crafters. Everyone already geared up will be able to start making these new items right away while they work on desynthing skill. The new crafting gear, il90 crafted items, primal synths, and gathering gear will all sell quite well. Anyone already close or able on patch release will be able to rake in the gil while those that decided to wait will have to give up or pay out the @$% to catch up.

These items will easily provide millions of gil to any master crafter and they are not even close to all of the items available.
