is there a debuff display glitch with bio, misama etc?

lately whenever i do my dot, itd say that it applied and i see my red number among the blue, meaning its doing damage but there arent any timers under the boss name

You forgot to mention where you're finding this "glitch".
You're seeing this in 24 man raids and hunts, yes?
Once both debuff bars get filled up, they won't appear. I actually don't know if they are applied or not, so i'm not actually much help. I just get my dots on early and keep them up to command / maintain the dot slot.

Then it would stand to reason that your dots are not being applied.

This didn't really answer Anubis's question. Bosses still have a limited number of dot 'slots' (and it seems their aggro tables are limited too). If you're seeing this in hunts, it is normal and to be expected.

If you're seeing this in 4/8 man content, I would verify to make sure there isn't some other explanation and then file a bug report.

Hmm, ok. I am not sure if 24 people is enough for this to occur normally, although Anubis categorizing it with Hunts does seem to imply it is. Maybe someone else can chime in with confirmation...

I get this all the time, it is just a visual bug with having too many dots on the boss even if you turn off other people's dots. The dot is still being applied (fester will still do the full damage), still ticks, can still be extended by garuda but will only actually show up on the boss' debuff bar if you let the dot run out completely and then reapply it. It is annoying as heck.

Doesn't matter. If there are 30 dots up when you apply yours, even if they apply and you have this option, they still won't display. Makes no sense, but it's true.

WoD is certainly enough people to reach the graphical max.

I suspect this has something to do with the mob's version of our character data (the reason we don't ave lots of QoL that you've probably wanted).

It seems that the graphical max is not the limit to what can actually be applied.
