We saw the Mandagora minions in what looked like a cutscene for the 2.3 trailer. I'm guessing they are involved in a quest of some kind.

Looking at the notes again, it seems like they might be in the Hildebrand questline as there is a quest called Seeds of Rebellion. That would fit in with the seeds listed at the bottom of the patch notes as well as the mandragoras being in a cutscene.

Now to figure out how to squeeze in growing minions on top of all the chocobo feed for the FC...

This will make raiding so much easier. No more relying on someone with a parser to call out phase changes. And everyone will be able to see them and know when its coming and (hopefully) if they need to push or hold DPS.

Or if you are capped on soldiery for the week you can just pick up the ones rewarding mythology then go to the next lower tier.
