    You don't understand why a spell that negates TWO physical attacks during one minute is "a bit" strong on a DD ?
    And people are never happy when they buff their class, unless the buff is overkill and puts them way ahead the rest.

    Yea, I also feel like that changes weren't really thought out. BLM could have used something to help them when moving. SMN Egi change...not sure this is going to make players want to use Ifrit over Garuda now.

    I think the 'buff' here is that it reduces all types of magic damage now (right now it's fire, ice and lightning). It says vulnerability though. I don't really remember what SCH's eos covenant does. If eos covenant is basically magical foresight, black mage's apoc might be magical rampart. This could pretty much help tanks alot to survive hits like mountain buster (yes, I know it's not relevant anymore for some people, before you come in and brag about it) and maybe...raven's beak? Not sure if that's magical or physical.

    The timer increase could be due to this or...pvp.

    BLM changes are kinda meh, but still a nice dps buff.
    As for summoner, the changes to pets AoE skills are really disappointing... are they supposed to make up for the single target buff to BLM and bring the SMN on par with the AoE? If that's the case, well a 5 potency increase on a 30sec skill is still nowhere near a Flare rotation. And if they're supposed to bring more strategy in the use of different pets, I really don't think this is gonna change anything at all.

    this potency boost will still keep us the weakest dps just won't be weaker then a bard playing songs anymore. however they did reduce our movability in some fights. Mana wall does not block all physical atks FYI a good number go through including the renaulds on t7 ignore it, unless you steal hate in any fight you will be targeted once in those 20 seconds, and because the 2 second delay on the ability use it's really only 18 seconds of protection.(if you pop manawall when you see a cast bar, you will get hit; it has to be done before hand so you can't react it has to be used preemptively.) Since blms even standing still were weaker then a bard playing songs this should l make us weaker then everyone except a bard playing songs, and still movement is our biggest issue and if anything we now have to move more, so increase our movement which lowers our damage, and increase our damage... please understand a blm currently is as weak as a bard playing songs to think we are being special by getting a buff...

    summoners are already 150dps over blm on t8. We still won't come close to you.I agree the smn changes make no since they are not enough to make ifrit more useful that's for sure.

    If a SMN is 150 DPS above you on T8 and you should stop being a BLM. I get 330 on T6, 280 on T7, 370-380 on T8 and 260-280 on T9. This with one requiem at the start and not even battlevoiced. This buff that we're getting will result in +20 DPS at least. Which is more than enough and on par with other classes.

    Well as a SMN, I well never use Crimson Cyclone simply because it has stun attached to it. It takes too long for an Egi to stun effectively and will add onto the stun/silence resistance.

    The blm in your group (I'm assuming you do it?) is terrible if he is 150 dps below the smn.. For the record, our blm does 350 dps in T8, will likely be 380-400 after the buff, which is more than sufficient if not overcompensated since they are still clearly top dog in the aoe and burst department.

    Just absurd. The easiest class to play and now probably the one dealing most dps with requiem except, in some fights, monk. 108 mnk here with blm, brd and smn 108 aswell in my static, so i know what im talking about

    Fire I 150 -> 170. With Astral Fire 270 -> 306
    Fire III 220 -> 240. With Astral Fire 396 -> 432

    Get ur shit together SE and give melee some love.
