Muffin cap or riot! I'm not even 100% sure that those things were even considered female-only when they were actually fashionable.

Gear is not really gender locked any more unless you want to wear the female cloths on your male character. After you unlock the gear you can pick it up for male and female from the Calamity Salvager. Along with other things you have unlocked check it ou.

I think you've completely missed the point. People don't want to just own stuff, but wear it too.
"Thy life is a river to bear rapture and sorrow
To listen to suffer to entrust until tomorrow
In one fleeting moment, from the land doth life flow
Yet in one fleeting moment for the new leaf doth grow"
Sailor outfit was originally male only they just decided last minute that it looked good on both and removed the male only lock on it.The sailor outfit was for both, and it seems this one is too just with variations for each gender. Doubt we get slippers so you have that. Also that dress looks uncomfortable to sleep in, it looks more like a gown. We get the most important thing though..*_* a nightcap!
That isn't exactly what is being said. He was saying that if we point out an actual problem earlier then it would be fixed earlier. He thought he saw a problem through the preview. Things like this happen all the time. They show a preview or talk about future content and people ask questions about perceived problems. Since it was brought up, gay marriage. This was a problem people saw before the content was actually released and it got fixed before released instead of after or never. In this particular case I think he was overzealous and wrong. But to think its stupid to ask/point out possible problems is wrong as well.
He saw a 2 second clip/picture of someone wearing a piece of gear. Something must outrage him every time he opens his eyes. Following the advice of someone like this is bad. That isn't exactly what is being said. He was saying that if we point out an actual problem earlier then it would be fixed earlier. Lol this thread is so hilarious! I'm sure SE has many more important things to implement instead of crossdressing.
Which is why I said he was wrong. It doesn't make the mentality of trying to fix mistakes earlier stupid though.
