4-Man Extreme Dungeons

I think it's time some legitimately challenging 4-man's were implemented.

I'd be okay if the release schedule were 1 new dungeon, 1-2 hard-mode equivalent, & 1 extreme-mode.

SE could save themselves trouble & not do the hefty dungeon alterations they do for the HM v's.

Same bosses, same-similar trash, way harder. Not just statistically but mechanically as well.

Even the same drops just +10 ilvl's & now dyeable.

SE already tested "hard" 4-man content on us with the original Pharos Sirius, and look what happened to it.

It was my favourite dungeon. ;_;

However, SE didn't really test anything with it, as it gave the same rewards as any easier dungeon of same rank. If there would be 4 person endgame dungeons with real rewards I'm sure people would do them.

In 1.0 we actually had endgame dungeons (first Darkhold, then AV and CC in the end). I'd like to have something like that again. For 8 members though.

That's the thing though. They would have to actually put something worthwhile in 4 mans. As it is now these are designed for newer players or alt characters to gear up from and collect currency for myth/soldiery gear. It's Coil or CT if you want significant upgrades, as they're relevant.

I liked your post but I would like to see a few dungeons created for open world with extreme difficulty.

No thanks, I'm bored with Hard mode this, Extreme mode that. I don't mind genuinely difficult dungeons with rewards to match, but I'd much rather see new content than do Brayflox for the millionth time just harder.

At this stage I would imagine a legitimately, extremely hard 4-man to drop Myth gear or alternative i100 accessories to go with the i100 CT2 left-side gear.

Even dyeable Myth that's i95.

Very uncommon chance for Oils & very rare chance for Sands too.

I love revisiting old dungeons, bring it on.

Like they they don't come up with new dungeons with each patch....
