Do I have to control Eos?

I've recently tried Scholar and since I'm used to WHM, I found that it was much more effective to combine WHM play style and little pet management (mostly placement).
She does use her abilities as soon as the cooldown is off, but there isn't much wasted time to reactivate them.
Just let her do the lesser healing and focus on the big abilities.

I usually don't bother with any management during high mobility fights though.

But...that's not a good thing. If she uses her skills off of cooldown, that means that she'll end up casting massive AOE heals when people aren't even taking damage, and then when you need to heal, you won't have them.

I understand that.
It's just that coming from WHM, it was easier to learn the role that way.

As I get more comfortable, I do micro-management more and more.
It's just that I started wanting to fully micro-manage my fairy and it ended up terrible.

So, I found that it was easier to place her to maximize her skills on Sic and switch to Obey when I'm comfortable.

I still prefer WHM though, so don't worry about partying with me as scholar! xD
