Incidentally, this isn't exactly a recent problem either - FFXI's 'final' encounter (as in, Shadowlord), also has a lengthy story cutscene as you enter the battlefield, and its actually worse with him now, as he's so low level (lvl 60ish) and there being no level sync, a party of even a couple of level 99 players can literally take him down in two-three hits maximum, with the result he's dead before the player even finishes the cutscene.

Unfortunately, there's no real way of solving this problem in ARR - the apparent solution of locking everyone out until people have finished the cutscenes would only make things worse, causing parties to bully players into skipping, or just avoiding the dungeon entirelly and thus new people would end up missing out.

2 options you could either do the fights in one of the next 1000 runs you'll do. Or you could set up a party finder group.

Oh my! The exact same thing happened to me. I didn't even get to SEE any of the bosses, except for in the cutscenes.

In my JP server Aegis, There was a person shout in town for 2-3 hours in order to get a totally fresh party to run this dungeon together. I think this is the bad side of someone who start adventure later than majority. But it is the only way for you to do now since those who watched CS before, doesn't want to watch them again.

People want their Myths. If the main scenarios gave twice the amount of myths they do right now I wouldn't mind a lock-out til everyone's done with cutscenes or an item level synch, but the way it is now, new people just going to have to deal with it.

Just don't blame it on your overgeared teammates, blame it on the system.

I however have just suffered my sixth kick in a row trying to watch them. (Yes i know Inn blah blah. Shove it up your nose.)

I've never seen anyone kicked for watching cutscenes. I have seen people kicked for wanting to pull while people are in the CS. Every other time the group just clears everything while the new people watch everything.

This dungeon was not designed to be farmed with 30 minutes of cutscenes. Yet SE has it part of the roulette to earn precious myth for endgame gear. Don't blame that on players who don't want to spend an extra 10+ hours a week in a dungeon that can be done in 20 minutes.

We are there to get myth. In exchange new players don't sit in queue for hours, or have to find 7 other people on their server, to help them beat the game. Watch the CS the first time. Do the boss fights again the next time. Or form your own group. Or watch the CS in your Inn.

If you do happen to find a group willing to spend 30 minutes doing nothing while you view then thank every single one of them. Your aren't entitled to have them do that for you.

This is the big part. Prae has 30 mins ish of cutscenes. That means 30 minutes of people not playing so you can watch them. They logged on to play the game not to sit idle. If I didn't want to play I could have read a book instead.
