They could have solved this issue entirely by simply removing morale. The whole concept of PvP only gear is both silly and jarring. A fresh-faced player pugging into a group of people geared to the teeth in PvP gear is not even remotely fun, and puts you at such a significant disadvantage that you can't even adequately compete.

They should really consider making PvP especially frontlines that akin to MOBA's

Everyone's gear is redundant. There should be a sort of "sync" the more you participate in battle the more points you get. Then at your respawn point there's a seller and you simply "upgrade" your "sync" from level 1 to level 10 so there's still a sense of balance.

Yet PvP will never be balanced because there's always something that gives someone else a boost or "edge".

Which they are kind of doing with the "gear sync" but well I don't know how that will play out until the patch comes out.

And hey, pvp is pvp it needs a bit of difference. And specialized stats, you still CAN win without Moral gear.

If you want to do PVP but are UNWILLING to invest even into a SING pvp ilvl55 piece, well you WILL lose quite often. But not always, I had a team were I was the only one with pvp gear, we won. I had a team where none of us wore pvp gear, we won. I had a team with2 wearing full ilvl90 pvp gear with me in ilvl55 pvp gear against people 3/4 wearing (visibile) pve gear, we lost.

In a sense. Yet ask yourself, why aren't players playing PvP?

justify it all you want, you have set yourself up to get reported by anyone who doesn't like win trading.

Yoshida said if you feel that someone is abusing the system then feel free to report them. He did not however state that win trading was abusing the system. He plays the game and probably knows the state of PvP. It looks like he carefully worded that statement as to not step on any toes.

People win trade cos the grind for ilvl100 gear is excessive that's all there is to it. 3000 to 4000 matches is ridiculous. It should be no harder then getting full conquest gear in wow which doesn't require 600 hours of rbg's or arenas.

Achievements, neat looking gear only obtainable through marks, entry in the challange log (which leads to more gil in the last tab of the said log), a new experience, new set of skills that with base stats free but can be upgraded, a new way of thinking how skills can be used, movement in a loose term (its not as important as in WoW but LoS is still a thing)

I don't play PvP because I absolutely don't care about PvP in a PvE game (Although I find the Lion set for PLD gorgeous ).
I can't say for other people.

As much as I hate pvp grinding since I cant use tells or talk in fc with my friends which is weird not to, but no way I can reach lv 30 with normal queue time even thu I like real pvp matchs ,I dont understand why isn't unacceptable for some people to grind pvp like any other grinding system in the game , maybe you dont want to see any1 with armors that you cant obtain ? .

There's a person on the Aether data center who has been botting PvP matches, standing idle or taking a few steps forward to prevent auto kicks. This person has been reported several times now. This person is supposedly wearing R38 equipment now.

I'll take win traders with zero pvp experience over these brats ruining our pvp matches any time of the day.
