PERIOD.

however, i think worrying about sprucing up (not changing) the games future and current color schemes should be one of the lowest priorities on the developers list of improvements.
Howabout instead of Rabanastre we compare it to Asstock? If I remember correctly that was pretty dull looking as well.

With the exception of the trees in Asstock, they both look pretty dull to me.

ugh, i TOOOOTALLY meant to mention FFXIs aesthetic being so similar to FFXIV in its subdued-ness. yes, FFXI has some of the most subdued BLAND environments/gear in any major game ive seen, same for FFXIV.
does anyone actually know why there was such a massive difference in color scheming from past FF and FFXI? FF7-10, and FF12 were all so much more colorful thatn FFXI and FFXIV.
does anyone actually have real info as to why they look so different than the rest of the entire FF series???????? it was so angering to me that i became one of the most prolific .dat modders ever, well me and mooshywooshy.

I'm sorry but the good .dat modders were far outweighed by the completely terrible god awful ones. Which is why I feel modding .dat files didnt take off like it could have.

XI wasnt that bad man, Yeah some places sucked... like bastok... and actually people liked bastok but there where plenty of areas that looked really nice like carpenters landing. I liked running through that game and looking at the scenery.

I like the redone WOTG Zones compared to the originals for sure. The sky looks amazing, and the colors are a little more vivid.

I'm sad that WoTG came so late because it was really a cool idea to send us back in time in the land we where already used to, I LOVED the idea, very creative and fun.
