    Increase more colors for Eorzea?

This game is lack of colors. Seem like they try to show off their crystal tool engine too much with the realistic color textures but this is a Game, a Fantasy game so we need more green grasses, more blue skies, more colors attires.

I hate to compare but look at Tera

I find the color scheme just fine. I think Tera is just over the top. What you think a fantasy game should look like is your opinion and not a known fact.

Tera hides detail by overly saturated textures, so it's an extreme case of using colors, while FFXIV is a subtle type of color scheme.

There's all types of fantasy games and fantasy styles, Lord of Rings for example is very gritty yet obviously very fantasy.

I think colors in FFXIV are actually great, don't really need candy scheme in Eorzea

Comparing games between themselves serves to improve them. Maybe if the original devs did a little research this way, we wouldn't be where we are today.

The colour palette is fine, sort of reminds me of FF9 when I think about it

Oh I forgot that Tera is third person single play sci fi shooter while Final Fantasy is just an MMO.

As for the topic. Yes the game can do with more color variation. As it stands right now it is very bland. It looks good but its still bland and needs more variation to the overall color scheme. I don't see why some are so angst with the addition of a little color.

I really with some of you would take the time to analyze what I say in depth, instead of having knee-jerk reactions and posting stupid stuff like this.

I wasn't insinuating that the devs copy TERA's art and gameplay style verbatim. But there's lessons to be learned by looking at what other games do well and are praised for; and then checking to see how that would fit into your game or even if it would. If TERA is praised because of its visuals and your game is shamed for the same reason, what do you do? Do you, A) Copy TERA's art direction in its entirety? or B) See why TERA's art direction is praised (cool monsters, good palette, good animations) and generate your own? or C) Plug your ears and make funny noises until people shut up? (Hint: the answer is B).
