must be why. II was the most difficult ever, because if you didn't cheat, there was tons of hours of grind to be able to survive in the last bosses. Probably more grind than in etrian odyssey... (which has a LOT of grinding to get to max level)

I actually enjoy it, maybe because I love hard and complicate things (even if I found Final Fantasy 6 and 10 more hard than this..) I'll say buy it but if it's nor your type (Turn battle system change job exc exc) well, don't buy it at th end the decision it's your![]()

-The next Act open-
"On that land shall darkness prevail and light expire...but you didn't knew that right ?"

I cheated with the select action/cancel/select again trick and the game was still a huge pain and felt so weird compared to the other games in the series.

I did not cheat. I suffered. a lot. Then I cheated. And my HP were just high enough to deal with the astonishingly low accuracy rate you get when you hit yourself for HP.![]()
i wouldnt say EO had tons of grinding(it did take ages to lvl up after hitting 45) just tons of unforgiving enemies. you were pretty much forced to get higher levels if you didnt get the materials to make things easier.
