Didn't the devs say something like it's up to the party's majority to decide where they want to go. This isn't a form of harassment according to the ToS, as much as I dislike it myself when I'm in OP's situation at the end of the day it's 3 players who are saying they feel it's right to abandon the dungeon. I don't think GMs are going to warn them for playing that way they wanted.

anyone who voted 'NO' should be left in the dungeon and the yes votes should leave. This leaves the people left behind at least with the option to fill the dungeon with "join in progress" players if they want to. The people left behind can still exit the dungeon freely with no penalty at this point because the group isn't full.

This is what should be done imo. I've had times where I'd like to go on (e.g. echo was raised really high with lots of instance time left for a primal, or when I'm near the boss for a dungeon I need on my animus book).

I'd love it if the devs could at least have this suggestion given to them to see what they think. They can then decide whether the cost of allowing players to go on (server resources that is), is feasible.

And quite bad one, as long as vote abandon works after 15min and usually first 2 bosses are done in 6-7min. Maybe they tried to PF but anyone joining them for farming will go away after first run, after looking at times, so they resort to 3-ppl DF.

I had this in Halatali HM after second boss, the DPS and I had independently queue'd for DR for the daily freaking bonus. After abandon failed, tank left, followed by healer- I think they just wanted to get myth tomes and had soldiery capped, so they decided to instant queue and use a couple of random DPS's to get that far and bail.

You know, the PS4 has this handy "record" button and it keeps the last 15 minutes of game play in memory- hit the button and you can save it off after the fact. So when things like this happen, I hit save and that lets me go back and see who did/said what. I've started a Greatest Hits compilation including players who bail a DR the second they pop on, and these two. However as a current subscriber I would never break the rule against naming and shaming people by posting that yet.

Sounds like a very ineffective way to farm Myth. I've done hundreds of BrayFlox HM and never seen anyone do this.

You can't vote abandon until 15 minutes after, most DF groups I do complete entire dungeon in 12-13 minutes. So I would probably vote abandon if it took that long for just first two bosses too.

How many times did you wipe getting to the end of the second boss?

There's no way you didn't wipe at least a few times if it took you 15 minutes to get there.

Is this really that widespread? I've only encountered it one time and the tank asked first if we could abandon after the second boss. I and another party member replied that we needed the soldiery, the tank was cool with that and we completed the dungeon as normal.

Yeah, as much as I disagree that should even be a valid reason I've seen someone get slapped with a warning because they said they were afk'ing because they didn't want to do the dungeon.

The devs have stated that this particular issue of people kicking/abandoning after second boss is considered harassment and that it should be reported. It was specifically for Bray, and they said any report that comes their way about this will be treated seriously.

So yes, report them.

This is the reason I've stopped even capping sold each week now, had too many occasions of vote abandon or just leaving after second boss when doing my daily expert.
It's shocking they haven't fixed this situation already by adding at least a myth reward to final boss, this is out right abuse that SE refuses to even deal with

o_o Kill second boss, pull the next 4 mobs, don't do anything, wipe, vote abandon? Not so hard is it now.

Maybe if vote abandon only works after a wipe that happen in a boss fight.
Wiping on trash? No reason for abandon, just trink some coffee and don't sleep during the fight.
