Vote Abandon Brayflox in Expert Roulette :(

So I understand that abandoning Brayflox after the second boss is a decent way to farm myth tombs, but its really damn annoying when I get stuck with Brayflox (which only takes about 20 minutes to complete...) for the expert roulette to farm up sold tombs and then the group decides to abandon it after the second boss without even saying anything. In turn, I get to sit through the 40 minute DPS queue again. Thanks guys...

This is really annoying. I understand people want to farm Myth, but maybe use the party finder or something for it? It only takes an extra 6 minutes to go from the second boss to the end. Would it really kill people to maybe ask the group first if everyone wants to abandon it, instead of just going 'meh, the three of us want to, so f**k you'.

I just needed to vent a bit. Maybe I'm wrong and the majority should rule all the time. Thoughts?

Edit: Or, here's an idea. Maybe if the group decides to abandon after 2 bosses are dead and I vote no but the vote passes I get my daily completion bonus anyways. Eh? Eeeh? That would work for me as well.

No, you're in the right there, sounds like they were a premade group of three abusing Vote Abandon.

Pretty terrible behavior really, and really, incredibly lazy of them to not make a PF Speed Run group.

If that happened to me and they were on my server I'd blacklist them instantly, it might not have any effect in the long term but at least you'll feel a bit better about it...

anyone who voted 'NO' should be left in the dungeon and the yes votes should leave. This leaves the people left behind at least with the option to fill the dungeon with "join in progress" players if they want to. The people left behind can still exit the dungeon freely with no penalty at this point because the group isn't full.

21 alexandrites from daily expert roulette, never had this happen before. pretty sure its just uncommon, better off going in roulette with multiple people since you can now

on the other hand... i joined an in progress once where people were at the last boss and the 2 of them (dps pugs too op...) voted to abandon, when i told them I already found someone from my LS who can join in progress to finish it up, it went through zzz...

I would be okay with this. At least then I don't have to wait through the whole queue again and re-clear everything. Also, for what its worth, this has only happened to me once. Then again, I rarely seem to get Brayflox as my daily random. Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks this is lame.

Yeah, im with you, because of this i do an expert roulette and then i just queue on halatali and lost city, i dont even join in progress any more and im a healer, as dps is worst

Award Tomestones only after fully completing the dungeon. Problem solved.

One tactic is to vote someone out. I try to open a chest really fast and never roll on it so they can't. I don't know if it works on vote abandon but you can try.

I've still never seen this and I run 2 characters still mainly as solo expert queueing. To be honest, if you have this happen to you it's not even a bad thing; plenty of need for myth tome farming, and hopefully 2.3 will at least shift where the speedruns happen.

That's pretty bad situation you got in there. They should just make a PF farming for that purpose, really.

But you have to wait 40 minutes for expert roulette? In Tonberry, I waited like 7 minutes max as a dragoon though...must be pretty bad for you.
