We can all go rounds with this and no one will budge far. It's not worth bickering about further. AH might be requested, but MW are also requested. SE will have to figure it out themselves.

No, you want to take out the physically rendered shops. I want them there. How to do that with stability is not for me to work out, that's SE's job. They might decide it's not possible, they might decide they need to change it for popularity's sake, but it won't stop me from liking the MW.

OP didn't ask or make a topic to start a debate about yes or no to AH, he simply asked if there is any word on it. Some people don't want it but I want it more than anything in FFXIV. But I guess it being at 11+ pages means we might get a dev post on this if there hasn't already been one.

The wards suck, either make them worth using or just give me an AH. I dont like zoning between all the wards. You could just leave the wards but let me buy my item from the search list even... i just like all the zoning, its extra lameness.

Seeing as how MW was and still is one of the top complaints about this game... I'm pretty sure they're definitely losing out on all that extra cash and more.

We don't really need an auction house, the market wards do everything an AH does except that you have to pick up your item(s).

What does an AH do that you can't do in the wards?

In an AH, you can sell your items wherever the fuck you want without having to pay a retarded tax. People know where to find your items because they are automatically placed in the category that makes the most sense. An auction house lists previous prices which is a great mechanism for keeping prices low. An AH doesn't require you to load sever different zones to look around.
