Put your real gear on for the boss fights.

Put your real gear on for the boss fights.
You shouldn't use the word "selfish" when you are gimping the party using crafter gear for your own personal gain at the cost of the time of three other people.
I'm not asking people to follow my strategy, I can see you are not reading the replies in this thread, if the majority (not just one) decide they don't want people using crafting gear they are (now) allowed to vote kick the minority. Whether you like it or not GMs wont intervene, gear choice is now a party decision and not a personal one.
I don't get why you keep making this seem like it's about me, I'm not the one who said gear is part of a player strategy, go yell to Camate.
(and again, tanks get commendations just for being there, not for doing anything special)
People trying to make other people play the way they want them too. These dungeons don't need very good gear to complete. If you aren't in PF or with friends then you need to find a way to deal with what you're served.
I bond HQ spinel sets daily while knocking out roulette's. Never heard one complaint from anyone. Besides, I'm still pushing il76 while doing so, which is miles above any fresh 50's I may run into. So I don't see the problem there. Wearing crafting gear in dungeons however is ridiculous.
Hey, as long as the people SBing don't complain when someone watches cutscenes, I see no problem. Surely no one is that much of a hypocrite...

It's called Vote Kick. People are on the fence about players should use PF if they don't want people doing SBing, I think it should be the other way around. If you want to SB then you should use PF. I really don't have an issue with players SBing in appropriate gear for their job, I just don't like players using Crafting Gear in dungeons. I also don't like Spirit Bonding in the troll infested CT.
I've never really had issues with players SBing outside of CT. Do I like it? No, Cause it feels like I have to do more so someone else can benefit. I know they said they won't do anything that's fine, I guess players are going to have to step up and take control over the situation...... Vote Kick.

Camate. Solve the issue by stating that clearly, to the devs, that the community at large needs places to spiritbond.Greetings,
While an item level requirement has been set up in order to participate in high level content, the gear used is up to the players. As such, we do not have any plans to implement limitations to the system that prevent equipment to be worn for spiritbonding. In the event we were to specifically decide the stats and item level per equipment slot for dungeons, it would take away the freedom of what you can wear since it will be limited to only specific pieces.
Equipment choice is an important element for content strategy, and while there are aspects that rely on the responsibility of players themselves, we’d like you to communicate with each other to make decisions based on the situation.
Please bring back the wolf camp, all more mobs in condensed locations such as Outer La Noscea (in the mines) and more melee type enemies in Western La Noscea, as well as more close range Sylphs in the Sylph lands.
We now -have- to spiritbond so please, we need places to do such, and not in a dungeon... thanks.

If someone is spiritbonding and the group doesn't wipe then who the hell cares? Are you going to kick a fresh 50 because they have crappy gear and will slow down the run? As long as it isn't creating wipes then mind your own damn business. It's up to the player to determine how much spiritbond they can handle and still do a dungeon sufficiently. If you want to avoid finding someone like that in DF then make a PF, it's really not groundbreaking science here.

Like I said before personally I do 5 min myth runs on my alt with SB gear on... But apparently that's not good enough for some people /shrug.If someone is spiritbonding and the group doesn't wipe then who the hell cares? /sarcasm on
And to your fresh 50 comment! No but clearly as someone who has spent at least 10 hours working on my class to get better gear I now carry the responsibility of the entire group to make this a quick and efficient run! As a 100-110 dps it is my duty to do 80% of the group's dps!
/sarcasm off

Today in roulette, the tank was spirit-bonding during "trash mobs" and switching during boss fights. Be it may that he was somewhat considerate to do this at least, the 3000 hp difference was still bothersome on the trash. I could do more as a healer other than just healing. I can make trash mobs go by faster by switching to cleric's stance and damage dealing, but because of him spirit-bonding I had to focus only on healing and have the fights go by more slowly. Everyone in the party had more hp than the tank while he was spirit-bonding. I'm not necessarily saying things should be altered, but it's kind of strange what a difference is allowed within the standards for the dungeon.
