    Also in response to this, it's important to remember that this small argument in this thread is not an accurate representation of the games population. Just because there are only three people on this side here does not reflect how many people who play and their opinions.

    Also keep in mind that these forums tend to attract the more hardcore/"I enjoy when games punish me" type of player, from my experience. The more laidback gamers might not see this, but that doesn't mean they aren't out there playing.
    IMO id be fine with limiting anima but for people with time management issues I've come up with some other options, like starting out with 30 anima and questing for 100+ more anima, or leaving it the way it is and in new areas dont include anima but instead a different type of travel. I hadn't though about the idea posted and i agreed with it but sadly after thinking about It the reward would have to be HUGE or people would still skip it to teleport everywhere which would end the game in a sad and lonely burning fire.

    in effect i could use 30 anima a day and still have 94 anima at all times (because I have friends with anima as well), just because you suck at using anima doesn't mean everyone is. The someway it goes to hell is servers being turned off because everyone has finished the game and have nothing else to do resulting in no subs. I think I and others have pointed this out like 200 times now. we have no content now so why are you against any suggestion to adding content? even to GAIN more then 100 anima?

    Mort. The reality is that the people who teleport a lot would by default has less Anima. It works itself out. At just 6 Anima a day frequent teleporting would leave the gamer Animaless.

    Again. Teleporting works itself out and the folks leaving the game would not and are not leaving because of teleporting frequently. The link that you are creating between the two is not applicable.

    all you have to do is admit your a teleport whore and that part of the conversation will be over. I'm just imaging someone teleporting all day long, i cant imagine how someone could run out of anima otherwise.

    @circa - in the option being discussed, its not restricted, you just have to do a simple quest to gain more space for anima, its content when we have none, and before you say you would rather them put in good and fun content, me too, but ive seen nothing but trash so far so any suggestion at this point is as good or better then what we've got to work with so far.

    anima regen aside guys, does it really make sense for 0 anima returns?

    its not that they are telporting frequently is how fast we are able to travel right now, it leads to finishing more in less time resulting in either the need for content to be added at a faster pace then once every 3 months or traveling slowed down a bit or else (other then you 2 hour a day players) people are going to finish this game very quickly and have nothing left to do.

    And please keep in mind that when i said every 3 months i forgot that the content we have been getting is trash like van sized squirrels so that doesn't even count.

    And there I thought you were starting to be reasonable. OK. You have made your point, in that if you cannot be reason with you either avoid the topic or become uneccessarily aggressive. Its funny that I am a teleport whore when at this very moment I have 100 anima and I don't have folks teleporting me ANYWHERE.

    Well I don't think it would have to be huge in a tangible sense. It would just have to be engaging. I don't completely disagree with your points, and what's funny is I think in a vague way we're looking for the same thing. I know that I don't want to see teleporting reduced or removed just yet. But at the same time, If chocobos ever are implemented I would like to use those, and I'd like a real incentive to use them over teleporting. I just don't feel that jumping straight to restricting a player's option is the best fix to an issue like this.

    I think it's safe to say that a good amount of players would like more content, why not make it that there are certain quests that can only be started if a randomly spawned npc is found while running from here to there. These quests can involve fighting certain mobs that normally couldn't be found, or can reward untradable items with great stats or benefits. Why not have secret areas such as caves that have a chance of holding chests inside. Instead of forcing people to run and waste time while not having fun, why not make it so that traveling itself IS fun. I think there are a lot of ways to encourage traveling without making it hard for those without the time.

    There is nothing to do at the moment and the game has been online for 10 months. People left because the game is incomplete. People left because of the timesinks everywhere. People left because the UI is cumbersome. People left because of the battle system. People left because the world is bland, monotonous and boring. I've yet to see some state that they left because they finished the game due to teleporting making the game easier to finish or any relating to finishing the game.
