Requesting info/rotation/macro for a new fully melded crafter!

Hi all! I am just about to have my GSM fully melded! Excited, as this was A LOT of time and effort spiritbonding to gather all the materia necessary! I am just wondering if someone could post a link or help me with a rotation to craft what is necessary to obtain my master book, my ilvl70 head piece, and my ilvl70 primary tool?

I have everything except the ilvl55 AF head piece fully melded, because I don't want to waste materia melding it when I'm just about to get another one. Also, how would you recommend the off-hand tool be melded in preparation for three-star crafting? Right now, I don't have it melded at all, because I am unsure exactly what to put in there. Thanks for your time and knowledge!

You know what's so overpowered in this game, that they just HAD to leave out?
    -Buffing during cutscenes.
    -Pets receiving the Protect buff.
-A blacklist with more than a 200 player capacity.
-Filtering the flying text for your own numbers.
-A better way to organize and sort through your macros.

I think this is what you're after:

    http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...olutely-NO-RNG!

It has details on off hand melds too, that are 'required' for the three star Craftsmanship and Control requirements.

Unfortunately, you're going to have to get Carpenter to 50 first, at least. I am unaware of a i70 turn in rotation that has even a passing chance of success without Byregot's Blessing.

You also need to get Ingenuity II (Blacksmith lvl 50), and maybe Steady Hand II (Culinarian lvl 37). You'll need those for 2 Star Auto HQ/3 star crafting anyway.

As for your offhand... I believe the requirements for most 3 star rotations is 397/375. So your offhand should have at least 4 control and 6 craft. All of my actually melded off hands have 4 control and 10 craft, just for a bit of over kill.

All my crafts are almost all up to 50, it's just GSM was the first I took to the full overmeld.

That looks pretty nice and all, but even getting the master book seems like it'll be a pain. Is there a fresh rotation for that, that doesn't involve the ilvl70 head or primary, seeing as I don't have those yet?

So would a Control IV materia and two overmelded Craftsmanship III materia suffice for three-star requirements and crafting on the offhand? And just to confirm, I would be fine without any CP materia melded to the offhand? Thanks!

One tip to get your Artisan's Spectacles is to get the Culinarian master book first, as the mats are FAR cheaper. You can then buy / craft HQ mats for the test item (Spicy Relish) to have a good chance of HQ even without melding your CUL gear. Once you have 10 you can get the Specs and return to focussing on your primary craft.

I saw this tip when I was at your stage and it worked brilliantly. I probably made about 10-15 useless NQ Spicy Relish in getting the 10 HQ ones, but as the mats were so cheap it really didn't matter.

Edit: Sorry, obviously need CUL to 50 for this to work.

Get your Culinarian to 50, fully meld your Culinarian and get the Culinarian book. Culinarian is the one craft you will always find a use for in food synthesis so fully melding it is beneficial. You can use Culinarian to get your Artisan's Spectacles since the materials are very cheap and the book is the cheapest and easiest. Use the rotation I linked you to to guarantee HQing all 60 of your Relishes. You'll then have your Artisan's Spectables and your Artisan Frypan. From there you can use the rotation at your discretion to finish the rest off.

I'm sorry, it seems the poster above said pretty much the same thing! I feel silly.

CP is your most important stat as a 3 star crafter.

Craft needs to be 391 and control needs to be 374+ (anything above is a bonus, as this is your 2nd most important stat).

With everything else max melded and with Artisan's specs and tool, you only need the Control IV on your offhand to meet the 3-star requirements (no food needed). Some people's preferred rotations need slightly more control or craft to work and so they meld extra (such as the 2 x craft III you refer to), but they are not required for 3-star.
