This is my thoughts. Chocobos will be nice to get you somewhere fairly fast but anima should still be available to help you get to another region/city.

If they add airships I hope the travel is instant instaed of having to wait to board it. In XI it was cool at first, but after you seen it a couple of times it's the most mind numbingly dull thing ever.
