I'm with you there. If I see notice that there is a new player in the group, and they are watching the cut scenes, and the elitist jerks vote kick him out, then the group also loses a healer. I refuse to play with people who abuse the vote kick feature and pick on people because they are new. They aren't worth my heals.

Honestly, the fact people are running it just to farm, instead of the tomes being just a small incentive, suggests the incentive is too high. Cut that incentive in half, and I bet the elitists who want to speed run everything, will stick to content that will actually be what they truly want.

Second if the reward was too low, you are right, people would stop running it and new people would once again be on the forums complaining that it takes them over four hours for a party to form. This was already an issue and the reason that the main scenario roulette with it's current rewards was added.

Or they could just add a story roulette route that you get great rewards on once a day but the cutscenes CAN'T be skipped. Then story players would get decent queues, no one gets votekicked, and anyone who doesn't feel like the reward is the worth the time spent watching cutscenes can just skip it.

I can pretty much guaran-godsdamn-tee if the healer(s) or tank(s) left, you'll be sitting on your ass for awhile. If they leave, you're best bet to to leave and requeue because you'll be waiting for a rep of those 2 jobs for awhile. And the point of SRs is to "GOTTA GO FAST". Sitting on your butts waiting for the rarest roles to refill the party is the opposite of a SR. So...I laugh at your logic, or lack thereof.

Just speaking from personal experience, but every time a tank or healer has left in Main Story roulette, they are replaced almost immediately. I've even tanked them on my BRD, although that's not the ideal solution.

Did you not read the first sentence, that both can be solo healed, so if a healer leaves, they can carry on. So...I laugh at your reading comprehension and retention, or lack thereof.

I'm talking about a 4 man party, the 8 man parties are more forgiving. Most you can do with 1 healer or 1 tank. People do Titan HM with 1 tank, 1 healer, and 6 DPS. But thanks for commenting my my lack of reading skills, nice touch.

Yes, adding in the (s) to the end of tank and healer of course means you were talking about 4 man parties, because I hate it when both my tanks leave in Halatali, not to mention this whole thread is about the skipping of cutscenes in the 8 man story dungeons.

Seems to me that anyone that disagrees with you throws you for a loop. You have your opinion, that's cool, but no need to get all nasty about it. You are passionate about your opinion, good. So are the other people. This thread has dragged on so much I get confuzzled sometimes.

You told me I was wrong when later you say you were talking about something else (I don't believe that), and you didn't do it in a very nice way, not only cussing, but also insulting my "lack of logic." So you don't have much room on that "let's all be nice" ground you are talking about. Also you can't do story roulette in a group, I am sure once you see this you will say you were confuzzled or something again, I do it for the 100 mythology, and if I feel like tanking the gil bonus, the reward is there to get people like me to run those story dungeons, so new people don't have to wait for hours to try to get a party to get it done.

I would either, if on MNK, leave and reque in progress as tank or healer depending whats needed. Or give a shout out to FC or LSs, 2 mins later, will be rocking again
