    I've read the post by Yoshida apparently saying that it would cause an excess of help. I just wish they'd throw us a bone here. I'm sure my static would love the extra assistance with the string of bad luck and vacancies we've been having this summer. Right now the hardest mechanic in SCOB is actually getting enough people to go every week without needing to twist someone's arm.

    merc runs are always going to exist. Even today I see sells on T5 and EX primals but apparently those don't matter anymore because the content is irrelevant. The lock out is just a bandaid and feels more punishing than anything. Measures could be taken to reduce the chances or likelihood of merc runs on the SCOB. Making it so that a party can't enter with over 4 people who have cleared before. Combined with a kind of loot lock out, or even limiting the amount of times you can re-enter every week to two.

    But who knows, maybe I'm in the minority about not giving two shits about loot and preferring to actually make progress without having to worry about who in the static can or can't show up. We had a great time of it in the first coil. Attendance was practically perfect. Summer is just bad for us and with these new turns I'd like it if the two FC statics we have now could help each other more.

    I just manage to clear T7 a while back after 3 weeks. When someone ask to triple current difficultly. All I can think of is instant kill mechanics everywhere.

    Honestly this it's almost like people forget that not only is it summer and people with time off tend to do other things that may not always line-up time wise with everyone in a group; summer jobs, vacations, other games, full time work, and some of us still in school make it so not all statics can always find the perfect time to run with each other all the time.

    I'm sure some people will just say kick and replace the people who can't but whats the point of running content for pixels that will be outdated soon enough anyway if it means alienating people and feeding FC drama for no reason? I'd like the freedom to do content with people i enjoy.

In order to balance the amount of gear being rewarded, it would have to become a rare drop. Would you do Turn 9 20 times for one high allagan weapon? Well, you would if they removed the lockout prematurely.

    Actually people aren't ignoring this they just feel it's a terrible reason.

    If anything it's other people who are ignoring the fact that there are multiple ways to handle the distribution of gear besides just ludicrous RNG rates, in fact one of the original solutions posted in the old coil lockout threads was adding a token system to coil so that you could eventually buy pieces from an NPC instead of relying on drops.

    This adds the benefit of actually REQUIRING multiple runs of coil for people to get their gear.

    Would a hardcore group of players run it until they're blue in the face and get tired? Sure, probably. However as people love to toss around that it's only a minority of people running and completing coil anyway is this really such a big deal? No, not really.

    Those who would have coil on farm already do so or have since... week 4? (considering BG win was like what week 2? week 3?)

    MMO's are social games by nature the very fact that you CANNOT solo coil proves this, people are asking for the option to play with more people i'm not entirely sure why this is considered a bad thing.

    I find it comical that you claim its SE's "Finances" that are preventing this. You really have no clue....

    The lockout is there to prevent people being full high allagan in one day... and YES, people WOULD do it like that.

    The loot lockout would be nice but then you have fc's who would run everyone through in one day..

    The way it is makes the content valid longer, plain and simple. Not "finances" *roll eyes*
