On topic; this thread makes me feel like the OP is a little bitter about SSM. It's like they guy in Florida that wanted to be able to marry his computer if gays could get married.

I'm all for equality but where was this thread when the marriage system was first announced? People wanted SSM in FFXI and they asked for it as soon as it was announced for FFXIV.

Do you actually care about this topic or are you just salty about SSM?

I'd say whether or not the OP actually cares doesn't make the point any less valid would you? If it's true that we're all for equality around here it shouldn't matter in what context the issue is brought up just that it is.

I would say it's much more troubling (and revealing) that a large number of posters are willing to dismiss the notion of "Equal Marriage" simply because they want to label the OP as a troll, after so much fighting was done on the forums recently for what i thought was this same issue.

Unless the term "Equal" only applied to certain groups then i apologize for being sorely mistaken.

I think they should add it for those that want it, however until they add alliances I get the feeling you'll be limited to a maximum of 8 in your little love octagon. I also pitty the chocobo that would be carrying around all of those people.

Nice try, but my point was that this explosive discussion on the topic was lacking in such threads. You're only validating my sentiment that some people are just salty by glazing over everything else I've said.
