as you should ...OR one of you two just change to the over GC and fight together?
i find this petition to more hilarious than the protesting FL thread especially when one of the main complains is keep your pvp rank and how all your effort is gone now.well isnt FL is supposed to be this equalized free for all, where barely anyone has any extra advantages outside skill? why does pvp rank even matter anymore? alot people , in this very thread no doubt, has "confirmed" that AP plays very little in pvp, so little that in fact, that its minimal.all your pvp skill is already unlocked. everyone basically have everything they need to play frontlines with no problem whatsoever. also wolves den, the only place the morale gear will have any meaning, will be dead as soon as 2.3 hits, so using and worrying about your morale gear is not an issue anymore.there is literally no reason to not just switch your GC to your friend(s) GC if you want to play together.
I think it matters only in that you can't go back to Wolves Den if you wanted to, thus pigeonholing you into doing just FL unless you want to "start over" with another GC.as you should ...OR one of you two just change to the over GC and fight together?

Thanks for making this, i made one like this when they sneaked in 2.28 patches notes that you wouldn't be able to change GC while queued to DF but everyone ignored it then.
Anyway, fully support this thread and I'm glad most seem to see this as an issue too.
To me it's nothing to do with losing rank or whatever it's mostly as someone said, imbalance in queue times and not being able to even go in 2-man party with whoever you want. As such I don't think point #3 would work on its own, unlike the other proposed points.
Not to mention whatever other issues that this may cause, i can think of some that may or may not happen but just the possibility that it MAY is unnecessary.
Like you said they could've at least made you able to queue for whatever affiliation your party leader is and just maybe receive slightly less rewards for example, still wouldn't be ideal for the queue health as 100% random placement > all, but at least it wouldn't put such a stupid obstacle in playing with whoever you want.
Main point is it brings nothing worth the restrictions, and just carries the possibility of screwing frontlines through several number of ways. ie. it's useless and brings an unnecessary level of complexity to a system that should be a simple as possible.
This is especially baffling when their main keyword for frontlines is accessibility......

Im in the same situation with most of my long time gaming friends as well. It's also unfortunate for any future friends I get to play, Because now I have to try to convince them to be a certain GC. Instead of actually letting them have their own choice.

You could change GC now and try to reach another R40 in two weeks (Legit this time)....
Welcome to the forums!
Where we complain and ask for changes to a system that hasn't been released yet and have no idea about the specifics of how its going to function.
Or maybe you can learn to read and then you would see that it has been confirmed and that we know how it will work.
I agree with OP. I really hope they either change or remove this GC restriction.
I am in a situation where a lot of my friends are spread out, it's also extremely unreasonable to ask them to swap over since they are ranks 35+. Basically the ideal choice would be all of us being able to play together.
I remember back in CT, my entire FC was pumped up about teaming up and doing it together. That idea got shot down quick, I'm starting to feel the same vibe with this GC restriction. Yoshi-P, please let me do frontlines with my friends. Thanks.
