    Atleast make it so Dragoon's "special" is to summon a Dragon which comes and fight with you for 30 sec and disappear. with a decent cool down?

    Without an association with a dragon type, dont even bother calling it Dragoon!

    Afaik, FFXI was the first title where you could summon a pet/dragon as a Dragoon. The only ability a Dragoon MUST have is Jump!

    ^^^ This, not sure why so many try and associate dragoon mainly with XI, Kain was the most bad ass Dragoon and there has been one form or another of Dragoon in most titles all of which had no pet wyvern.

    Haha, probably because FFXI was the first MMO in the series. And Wyvern pet just made Dragoon more unique.
